You can showcase your game, engine or asset in development - no trailer/gameplay videos unless you are representing the game. Don't spam! No Platforms/Services.

Events and Game Jams

Pre-approval of event and game-jam coverage in the community needs to be obtained via DM or our website.

No hijacking other posts

If a post is doing well for visibility, no promoting your own in the replies unless asked by the original poster.

Publishers & PR welcome to showcase the games they represent

Publisher and Marketing/PR Agencies are welcome to post about the games they are representing. No platforms or websites that conflict with ours.

Post frequency

You can post about your game, assets, crowd funding, game dev, launching, or releasing an update. 2-3 times per week max - unique content. Less posts = more.

Kickstarter / Crowdfunding Campaigns welcome, but...

Your post will need to be limited to once a week.

Content is key to engagement!

Make your post worthwhile, show a video or screenshot with a description for others to like, share & interact + link. If it becomes a dead post, we may remove.

We may remove posts if they also conflict with;

Any campaigns, hosting or content that we are running or promoting on our website or X. Posts contain links to other non IGD communities, except your own game.
